Happy summer to everyone. Congrats to our seniors who are now graduated. You will be missed.
A few things... please find info regarding a great volunteer opportunity at the US Olympic Training Center. The USOC will be hosting The Jimi Flowers Classic Swim Meet on June 22nd and 23rd , 2013. The meet will feature several of the USA’s top Paralympic swimmers including world record holders and gold medalists. Both American and world records were set at this event the last three years. This will be an exciting world class competition held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
The USOC is currently looking for volunteers to help with timing (pushing a button on a stopwatch) during the swim meet. No prior experience necessary! Volunteers may also be needed for other miscellaneous jobs throughout the competition. There are three swimming sessions and 16-20 volunteers will be needed for each one. If you are interested in volunteering, please email Dave Denniston at dave.denniston@usoc.org with the session(s) that you are interested in.
Session 1: Saturday, June 22; 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Session 2: Saturday, June 22; 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Session 3: Sunday, June 23; 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
