Pine Creek Invite

Friday, Jan. 23rd at Air Force Academy
All participants will be excused from school at 2:15 on Friday. I'm currently trying to organize a bus up to the AFA. If this does not happen, we will carpool as a group from the school at 2:30 up to AFA. Warm Ups start at 3:30 with a 4:30 meet start. All swimmers will be expected to find a ride home from AFA Friday night. We will have a better idea of timeline when the pysch sheet is posted Wednesday afternoon.

A friend who works for the company offered the following info:
We just introduced a new suit called the neroFIT. It's designed to be a more affordable tech suit - easier to get on and off. Still fully bonded and really fast in the water. The fabric isn't as technical as the TX or 14. I can't recommend this suit enough. It's really awesome and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. We also just got in a limited edition tartan print in our neroTX. It's pretty cool and different. For the swimmer who wants to stand out. Last, the neroTX is a our best seller. Available in black, orange, blue and pink. And finally the nero14 continues to be our most technical and compressive option.

Friday- Hornet Invite/ dismissed at 12:30, bus to leave at 12:45; Prelims start at 4:00.
Saturday- Hornet Finals top 12 return for Saturday swims; if you need a ride, let me know. 12:00 warm ups with a 2:00 Finals start

Starting Jan. 12th

All team practices until the end of the season. Varsity will swim 3:15-5:15 with dryland to follow; jv will do dryland 3:20-4 and swim 4-5:15.

That's all the info I have at this time. We will have a better timeline the week of when entries are submitted but this meet tends to finish up at 2ish. All athletes who swim at this meet are then done for the season.

Sorry everyone, the Rampart meet is WEDNESDAY, JAN. 14th, not the 13th as listed below on the calendar. Everything else is up to date.

Hornet Invite (Jan. 16th & 17th)

I will post Hornet meet entries Monday, Jan. 12th at the latest. We will have a bus that takes swimmers to Pueblo on Friday. We have not yet been assigned a warm up time but the bus will likely need to depart CHS at 12:30 (at the earliest). Swimmers who do NOT want to ride the bus back must stay until the end of the meet and ride back with a parent. On Saturday, athletes who qualify for the finals will need to find transportation to Pueblo. If this is a potential issue, please let me know. Top 12 individuals and relays qualify for finals.
